Gillian Middleton is a prolific slash fan fic writer who has written in numerous fandoms. Some of her early Due South fanfiction was published in fanzines such as Pure Maple Syrup and won her a Stiffie Award. In the late 1990s, Gillian wrote a multi-part The Sentinel genderswap AU called BJ Sandburg, in which Blair got "the Sandburg curse" and was turned into a woman for a year.
