Summary

From a distributor, Agent With Style:

Busting ghosts is a dangerous business that can bring out feelings of camaraderie and love—sometimes deeper than anyone might realize. In the pages of this enthralling zine, you'll find such stories as: After a seemingly simple bust gets slightly out of hand, Ray comes to the rescue, only to be cursed for his efforts.—When called in to clean out a church, the guys learn never to underestimate a repeater.—A quiet day at home rockets into a rollercoaster ride of sex and danger.—An amusement park turns deadly and Peter must pay the consequences, and much more!

Contents

  • Ticket to Ride by Lethe (1)
  • The Grotto by Tammey Reed (36)

  • A Helping Hand by Mara (52)
  • Jasper's Revenge by KRA (86)
  • Slasher by Robyn T. (winner of a 2002 FanQ) (100)
  • Special Request by Angelise (128)

Reactions and Reviews

[Repeater]: The twisty cleverness and adult themes of this story really drew me in when I read it a few years ago in the ONLY (to date) RGB slash zine to ever have been published, "Ghostly Affairs." "Repeater" brings you possession, consecration of same-sex marriage, and a time-loop of a deadly scenario which the Ghostbusters must break to put several souls to rest.
Actually, Ghostly Affairs was not the only slash zine in existence for RGB. A few years prior, a set of zines came out called Crossing the Streams, which did have some het, but mostly slash. Some of the best slash stories in them were done by an author by the name of Debbie Hicks, who is not to be confused with Debra Hicks, of dubious writing ability on the slash list.
Crossing the Streams had only six volumes, I believe, but it is so far out of print that copies are extremely difficult to get a hold of. The publisher has no interest in ever reprinting them, or even ansering their emails, despite repeated requests.
But I do believe that Ghostly Affairs was the only exclusive slash zine for RGB to date. Too bad Bast could not generate enough submissions for a second zine.[2]
