fabulae was a multifandom fanfiction archive with a focus on slash, run by Augustus. The name is Latin for "stories".

The site was started in April 2000 as a "semi-personal fiction site".[1] By March 2005, the archive contained 999 stories by 89 authors.[2]

The archive was shut down as of July 1, 2006:

Authors currently archived on fabulae should have just received an email, but I've received a stack of unsent mail notifications and some other addresses may not be ones you check, so I'll summarise here... and check the email you received fabulae feedback at, yo *g*

As of the 1st of July 2006, the fabulae archive will no longer be in existence. Its glory days are over, and I personally feel it's better to say goodbye on a good note, rather than watching the quality disintegrate over the coming months or years. Current fabulae content will be deleted on (or soon after) the 1st of July. If you don't have copies of your writing elsewhere, I recommend you make copies of your pieces before this date :)

Thank you for being a part of fabulae. It was a great endeavour to be involved with, and I appreciate everyone's contributions to making the site what it became.[3]

After July 2006, the site was home to individual author pages for Augustus, Nicole, Kel, and Snow Dome.[4]
