Dame Aylin/Isobel Thorm is the pairing of Dame Aylin and Isobel Thorm in Baldur's Gate III fandom. The pairing is easily encountered on-screen if the player follows "good"-aligned actions regarding the Act 2 main plot and Shadowheart's personal quest. However, there is a chance that even so this information might be missed and the characters might never meet in front of the Player Character, especially if Shadowheart's Shar-aligned path is followed in her personal quest.

Canon

Dame Aylin, or the Nightsong, and Isobel Thorm have a classic forbidden love story, in which Isobel's father, Ketheric Thorm did not approve of the relationship, out of fear Aylin would take his daughter from him after the loss of his wife, Melodia Thorm.

The two met when Aylin was sent as an emissary of Selûne to Isobel's town, and the two fell in love at first sight. After Isobel died (according to Early Access, Halsin was the one who killed her. References to this have been removed in the Full Release of the game) Ketheric was driven mad by grief and turned from Selûne to her sister Shar. He tricked Aylin and captured her, using her to grant him immortality.

During the arrival of the Player Character, Isobel has been revived and thinks Dame Aylin is dead. She can be reunited with her lover with the PC's help and both will be incredibly grateful to them, and frequently mention their love for each other.

If the player kills either of them or both, clues can still be found in-game regarding their relationship.

Fandom

Occasionally Shadowheart may be shipped with them, due to her relationship with Selûne.
