Courtney/Scott, known mostly as Scottney or Scourtney, is a semi-popular pairing within Total Drama fandom. The ship is between Courtney and Scott, both prominent characters. While Courtney has appeared in every season up to Total Drama: All-Stars, Scott has only appeared in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and All-Stars. The ship is canonical, though rocky, and it's unclear to fans if they were still together after the season ended.

Courtney/Scott was decisive during the airing of All-Stars in 2013, particularly on Tumblr. Before it aired, Scott's most popular pairing was with Dawn, forming Dawn/Scott, and Courtney's was with Duncan, forming Courtney/Duncan. Other pairings such as Courtney/Gwen and Courtney/José were also popular alternatives that sprang up due to All-Stars. Ship war was not unheard of, even prevalent in some circles.

In 2014, things cooled, though the pairing is still less common than other canonical pairings for Courtney, as well as Courtney/Gwen, as of 2024.

Common Tropes

  • Sharks: Since Courtney is known to punch sharks on the show, and Scott is terrified of sharks, some works of fanart have Courtney fighting off against Fang for Scott.
