Go For It, Nakamura! is a redraw meme. Fanartists, cosplayers and/or photomanip editors parody the cover of the Boys' Love manga Go For It, Nakamura!, which was published during 2017 in the serial magazine Opera by Syundei. In 2021, the meme became established and popular for fans of pining in their ships of choice.

In the cover art, Okuto Nakamura is seen flustered at the thought of his classmate, Aiki Hirose.

History

The first known example of this meme is unknown. It is believed to have come from Instagram during February 2021, spreading quickly within the same month across Instagram and to most other social media platforms, primarily Twitter, Tumblr, TikTok, DeviantArt and Pixiv.
