Ballister/Ambrosius is the slash pairing between Ballister Blackheart ('Boldheart' in the film adaptation) and Ambrosius Goldenloin in Nimona fandom.
Canon
Ballister and Ambrosius become friends during their training at the Institute. While the comic and film differ in how the two became enemies, the main gist is that when they're older, Ballister loses his right arm (because of Ambrosius in the comic), and was exiled from the Institute, forced into being a villain. From there, Ballister wants to bring down the Institute while Ambrosius wants to defend it as he sees it as necessary. At the end of both versions, after the Institute has been exposed as corrupt and is dismantled, the two reconcile and start dating.
While the two are forced into being enemies, they both still care about each others wellbeing and do not mean each other harm.
