Wishes for Kisses was a multifandom ficathon community with kiss-themed prompts. It allowed writing and art fills, along with manips and short vids of 15 seconds or more. As of 2023, there were 112 entries and 1,173 comments recorded in the community.
Rules
1. Comment to the sign-up post with your request for a kiss between two or more characters. Crossovers and RPF are allowed. Slash, het, and hetslash (in the case of threesomes and moresomes) are all welcome. Please list only the fandom and characters. Due to the wordcount restrictions, scenarios are at the discretion of artists and authors.
2. Read the comments to the sign-up post to see if anyone has requested a kiss you can fulfill. If so, reply to their comment claiming their request. Specify whether you're giving them a story or art.
3. If you're writing a story for your claimed kiss, you may either write a story of exactly 250 words (called a kiss) or exactly 300 words (called a French kiss).
4. Post your story or art to the wishkisses community, and in your own LJ or other comms as you wish. Please use cut-tags for large art or explicit content.
5. Return to the sign-up post and make another request, if you like. Please make the new request for a new fandom or at least a new pairing, if you're a mono-fan. For each request you fulfill, you are allowed to make a request.
6. There is no restriction on the number of requests you can claim. However, you can only claim one at a time. Please do not claim another request until you have already posted your response to the first.
7. You are allowed to write or draw/paint/manip one unrequested kiss. However, this kiss will not count toward allowing you another request.
8. You are allowed to claim a request that has already been fulfilled. However, each request may only count once for art and once for fic in terms of new requests. So if you're fulfilling a request that's already been fulfilled in your medium, you may not count that request toward your own request slots.
