Us and The Sunset is a discontinued digital charity zine centered around the Sea Salt Trio (Axel, Roxas, and Xion) from the Kingdom Hearts games.

As of this point of documentation, most original posts around the project have been deleted, so much of this information relies on secondhand sources and reblogged material. Not all information is accurate.
Interest checks began approximately on March 31, 2019[1]. The zine would contain artwork and fanfic about the trio and would also include merch sold in differently priced bundles. At this time, the zine did not have an official name. The zine would be primarily digital, although with enough demand, physical copies could be made available[2]. Interest checks was estimated to have closed on April 15th[3].
In a report of interest check results posted approximately around April 19, 2019, the interest check was reported to have received 120 responses[4]. On this announcement, the organizers announced that the zine's proceeds would be donated to Child's Play Charity as suggested by interest check participants and in honor of the title of Roxas's last diary entry. In addition, the zine's official title was announced to be Us and The Sunset. For a time, the zine's name was changed to the new name.
Contributor applications began approximately around April 20, 2019[5]. Artists, merch artists, and writers were expected to submit applications until May 20th, and acceptance emails would be sent out between May 21st to May 26th.
The project was cancelled from around late June or early July 2019 due to conflicts within the team. The project's Tumblr blog and Twitter account were deleted and never backed up on any website archives. Most of the artists who participated in Us and The Sunset went on to create their own Sea Salt Trio-themed zine called Re:Complete.
