Treasure: An Unofficial Danmei Culture Zine is a multifandom danmei zine, featuring nonfiction articles about Chinese culture and fanart related to The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System, The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, Heaven Official's Blessing, and Faraway Wanderers.

It is a perfect bound nonprofit P4P zine with a Safe For Work rating.

Editors Note

Treasure was a project born from my personal desire to share more about my culture, and it’s been wonderful to learn that so many people have taken interest in it just like I have again after being introduced to danmei two and half years ago.

I can’t speak for every diaspora, but growing up, it was difficult to master mandarin, much less fully appreciate the intricacies of Chinese culture. And though I was exposed to plenty of media in my mother tongue, none have captured my attention quite like danmei. It’s only now that I’m older that I mourn the time lost in getting to know my culture better, as well as the opportunities I was granted in the past to receive formal education on it.

This zine has been aptly named Treasure to remind us that we ought to treasure the things that make us who we are, the rich history cultivated by our ancestors, and the time we have left with the people who are able to pass that on to us.
