An angry, lonely, bitter man, Jim spends Christmas alone at his father’s cabin, just as he has every Christmas since Blair turned down the offer of a detectives badge and left the country with another man. Then, five years after he walked out of Jim’s life, Blair returns, wanting to explain, but will Jim give him the chance, when he hates Blair so much? Beautifully angsty, beautifully written and with a believably happy ending to boot.[1]
