The Final Meeting is a 100-page het novel by Dolly Weissberg.
From a July 1993 ad in GAZ: "Jim Kirk is dead, his crew is attending his funeral. Afterwards, his wife Janice Rand goes to a shore leave planet to rest. She meets Jim Kirk and believes him to be real. She spends a nice vacation and then they try to beam back. Jim doesn't make it. and Janice again goes through the loss of her husband. She spends a few days back on the ship and decides to go to her mother's house. She then retries to get Jim back and go through the mysteries of the void in trying."
