I wasn't sure what the category for this stub should be as it's a multifandom challenge and in looking on the "Fandoms" page I didn't see anything that could be used for Multifandom other than the glossary page.--Yourlibrarian (talk) 19:48, 24 February 2018 (UTC)

yourlibrarian, I put it under Category:Multifandom Challenges. (Also added a date category.) One question is should "multifandom" be added to the category of all things that are multifandom to herd them that way as well? Such as multifandom vids, zines... or does that make things too complicated or dilute things? aethel is someone who would have some good ideas on this topic. --MPH (talk) 13:17, 24 February 2018 (UTC) quick edit: tweaked by adding ":Category" to make it a direct link. --MPH (talk) 13:18, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
MPH, are you suggesting a parent category for all multifandom things to organize the specific multifandom things we already have categories for? Do we have content for multifandom activities that don't have their own multifandom category? We have the existing page Multifandom that we could use to link to these categories, but we could also create Category:Multifandom Activities to group them together?--aethel (talk) 19:40, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
My thought is that the broader "Activities" might be more useful given the current range of content on Fanlore since, while there are quite a few multifandom writing events out there, I think not all of them might be called challenges. This could also just be me as it seems terms can overlap in use but I am often left not sure what to call a particular type of event. So I think leaving it broader might encourage more additions rather than being too specific. But activities could also include cons though or is that just events? Perhaps "Multifandom Fanwork Activities"? --Yourlibrarian (talk) 19:54, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
