Why we love it:This fic bridges the gap between episodes 2.10 and 2.11, showing us Steve's struggles to come to terms with with what happened in North Korea. The author deftly handles Steve's physical and emotional trauma without overdoing anything. Steve's struggles are subtle and not easily fixed but because of that they feel so much more real. We also love the way Danny struggles to help without really knowing how. This is a well paced, gritty, and realistic look at recovery.[1]
