cover

Side by Side is a gen and slash (though the editor finds slash "quite revolting") Starsky & Hutch 34-page anthology edited by Sandra J. Ferriday.

It contains two stories, a poem, recipes, and some artwork and may have originally been printed on construction paper.

The first run was 30 copies, the second run was 20 copies.

Ferriday and the Slash Content

While Ferriday included slash in this zine, she was obviously NOT a fan of it.

From the editor's note:

Although I do not believe in the premise of S/H, in fact find it quite revolting, I want to cater to all tastes in fanzine reading. "All We Need to Get By" is the follow-up story to "Winds of Change" in You and I zine.

If possible, while reading my own story, try listening to the album Force Majeure" by Tangerine Dream" This is what inspired the need to write.
