Summary

This is a quartet of stories which starts in the Springtime of Vincent and Catherine's relationship, and goes on to cover their marriage. In the second story we read of the birth of their son, then their grandson's birth is the main thrust of the third story. The last story is of a lonely walk when one of them is left alone, but it does have a happy ending.
