This story takes the lack of trust shown by Jim in TSbyBS and runs with it to a painful conclusion. It starts a few months after TSbyBS and Jim and Blair's relationship has deteriorated to the point that Blair moves out of the loft. It becomes apparent that Jim believes that the dissertation disaster was just part of a larger betrayal on Blair's part. This is a very bleak story with no happy ending but sometimes what I want in a fic is a story that gives me a jolt and makes me think. This story certainly packs an emotional punch and although a very sad tale it's definitely worth the read.[1]
