From a Flyer

A classic, love-swept narrative sure to capture the hearts of all romantics... to hold fast... and never let go. A tale filled with tenderness and fired with passion that only Vincent and Catherine can elicit.

From the Editorial

Over ten years ago I watched the pilot episode ofan extraordinary television show that touched my heart. As the weeks went by, I fell in love —with Vincent, with the fairy tale, with the world Below. As each week passed, I became more a part of this special world. The episodes I enjoyed most were the ones with the least 'action', and the ones I hated were ones in which Vincent was hurt. Then came the third season — a season that I have watched, but personally believe was a fever dream during Vincent's illness. I can't accept the resolution that the writers and network gave us —it hurts too much.

The series ended, taking away the fantasy and hope that I looked forward to each week —the hope for 'happily ever after' and a real kiss! I had a few tapes to help me keep the dream alive, but I missed my friends in the tunnels. I didn't have cable when the series was replayed on the Family Channel, and my cable company didn't carry the SciFi channel when they aired it. Then WGN began to air the series. Taping the episodes and watching them at night renewed my love affair with this magical show.

Thinking myself alone in this feeling, I searched the internet and found how mistaken I was. In a little more than a year I have gained a wonderful cyber-family, been introduced to fanfic and fandom, attended a convention and have begun to write.

The support and encouragement of my cyber-family has led to this 'zine. This is my view of Vincent and Catherine's happy life - I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
