The anon was following-up to a post doubleca5t had reblogged a few days prior. It was a screencap of a post to Twitter made by a fan named WashireRPAdvice, who said, "minor-coded or not. -> Their height. Any girl under 5'7 is basically a red flag for being minor coded since that's around the common height for children. This applies to canon characters and OCs," with the caption, "i just remembered that minor coded height tweet and folded in on myself and stopped existing," added by renaultmograine[1].

It’s because she was shipped with Lapis who in some shots looked twice as tall as her because the storyboarders on SU were shit at scaling. This combined with the fact that this coincided with Voltron discourse making age gap discourse really popular created the concept of Peridot as “minor-coded”.Some of the other characters that later got caught up in the minor-coded drama were Entrapta Shera (kinda noticing a pattern of “minor coded” characters being just autistic) and Hawks Bokunohero
