Peridot is a supporting character in the show Steven Universe.
Canon
Peridot starts out as a minor villain in season 1. In the second half of season 2, Peridot is captured by the Crystal Gems and slowly becomes an ally. She remains in a supporting role for the rest of the show, into the film and epilogue series.
Fandom
Peridot has been described as a "breakout character",[1][2] and can safely be considered a fan-favorite.
