Master's Voice is a fantastic alternate-reality series that KatBear has been working on for many years.Her Qui-Gon character, Quilan Finn, is a forest ranger (an inspired choice for a modern-day Qui) in Wyoming and also hosts a radio program for the local university. The Living Force is strong in him.
Her Obi-Wan character, Ben Kennan, is a motorcycle mechanic who owns a Harley himself. He's originally from Boston but was disowned by his father before he ended up in Quilan's neck of the woods. His flair for machinery shows his affinity for the Unifying Force.
KatBear takes our heroes from Ben's 'love at first listen', to their awkward introduction, to a developing friendship, and more. There's a wonderfully slow build-up to their relationship, which you'll savor.
The supporting characters are warm and down-to-earth people, who are good friends to our heroes. And Quilan's forest -- the Keogami -- has a marvelous character of its own.
