Why You Should Read This: This is one of the crackiest fics that I’ve ever read, and it involves both writing and the IM chat between the author and some LJ friends. In the telling, the author writes about mermaid Princess Steve, and how he goes to the surface and meets a guy from Jersey. There’s lots of lines like this: Princess Steve fucking loved being a mermaid. It was awesome- you swam all day, and no one expected you to wear a shirt.[1]
