Leviathon is a very long drawerfic by Gloria Galasso.
It consists of many interconnected stories that take place in the universe of Bird of Paradise. There are 330 pages. The "Bird of Paradise" part is 30 pages.
The characters are Derek Quinn and Allyn Sterling, who are fans believe to be coded Led Zeppelin characters.
Starsky, Hutch, and Huggy Bear make very small appearances.

- Chateau Paglio near Orsieres in Canton Valais, Switzerland, January 1972 (Derek is a guest of Giovanni Paglio who is a very wealthy man, Derek is high on drugs as he usually is, and he falls in the hallway and hits his head. An American doctor (Charles Thrush) who is also a guest helps him to his room. The doctor asks Derek why a "gorgeous starchild" such as himself takes drugs and "turns into an amoeba four times a day" due to his drug use, Derek replies by playing music on his guitar, music that is very mystical and angsty, tells the story of Derek's pain. The two have a metaphysical conversation. Endnote to the story: the doctor is arrested the next day, extradited to the United States and is cruelly treated in prison: the charge was possessing two marijuana joints. - Honisoit qui mal y pense, Munchen, April 1972 (a woman named Astrid visits Derek, who is dressed as a woman. He is very thin and has been hiding.) (2 pages)
- Pretty Polly, London, May 1974 (Harry Stuart wants Derek Quinn (an idol to millions) to be in audience for his girlfriend, Polly McMurtrey in order to boost her musical career. There's lots of drinking, lots of talking in this chapter.) (17 pages)
- untitled, March 1975 (Derek, unsure of how he got there, wakes up in bed with the young and handsome Etienne. The Frenchman makes him a perfect omelet. Derek has been ill and has lost some memory. They have a lot of explicit sex.) (46)

- December 1978, an untitled section that begins on page 105, stops on page 134. This is a rough draft of a small part of Bird of Paradise (Derek explains "about San Francisco" where they were arrested for drug possession, they meet Huggy Bear in a jail cell. Huggy tells them with a laugh and "wide friendly grin" that "I was just helping out these two dudes I now, from down in L.A., who are cops, and I wound up in here by mistake. They'll be along to spring me eventually." Allyn recounts a story later to David and Kenneth about a plane accident he was in in San Francisco, one that probably resonates with Hutch's ordeal being pinned under a car in the episode, "Survival." Huggy also offers advice to Derek and Allyn about how to handle drug withdrawal while in jail which amounts to bribing the jailer to let Derek have some heroin. The price for his bribe is for Allyn to allow the jailer to have anal sex with him.) (30 pages)

- Tomorrow is Another Day, November 1979 (This story is told from the point of view of Dick Finney, Derek's servant. Finney has to regularly go out late at night, find Derek and bring him inside to safety which includes cooking for him, bathing him and putting him to bed. Derek is apparently unable to care for himself and is very gaunt. Derek talks to Lady Astrid on the telephone. There is a conversation with a character named Rooney. Derek does drugs with three groupies/sex workers. Derek experiences much self-indulgent and relentless man pain, the prostitutes experience worse things.) (49 pages)

- Riki Tiki Tavi Mongoose is Gone, August 1981, later in the day as "Studio A" (This story takes place at a concert at Madison Square Garden on the last night of a tour. Allyn realizes how much he wants a deeper relationship with Derek. He waits for Derek in his waiting room, but Derek disappears after the show without visiting. Allyn is distraught and confused. He has rough sex with a female groupie. Derek has disappeared.) (29 pages)
- Where the Gods Reside, Isle of Capri, January 23, 1982 (Derek is with Etienne, Astrid, and Julian who is Astrid's and Derek's blind 16-year old son. Derek mopes and plays guitar.) (13 pages)
- Face of Rain, London and Surrey, January 29-30, 1982 (Allyn sees Doctor Charles Thrush at a restaurant. Thrush tells him Derek is at his Surrey house, and Allyn leaves right away to go see him. Allyn finally tells Derek he loves him. That night, Allyn dies in an car crash.) (50 pages)

A 1982 Description
In 1982, the author describes this fanwork as being part of a much larger work: "BoP is a section out of another, much larger, corpus of work called The Leviathon which is already over fifteen hundred pages long and spans the working history of a major rock band over fifteen years... BoP originally ran right at 400 pages at a line and a half. Even allowing for the use of double space on the re-write (the 'zine will be single spaced. Indentation will have to suffice to separate paragraphs) the story in already one third longer than the original." [1]
