Leather and Lace is a series of Stargate SG-1 fanfics by Kimberley Jackson, who describes it as the "Sam/Jack version of Fifty Shades of Grey / Willing Victim." As of 2019, there are a total of thirteen stories, collected into three "volumes" titled "Sweet Surrender", "Restrained" and "Unleashed".

Editors/betas for the series include Hana Láryšová (a.k.a Channach), Raven Clark, Merista, and samismymuse.

Jackson has stated that the series began as "a challenge for myself to see if I could do a better job than E.L.James", because she found Fifty Shades of Grey to be "such a poor representation of the lifestyle".[1]

The full stories are posted on Jackson's personal website, but she posted an abridged/censored version of Volume 1 on Fanfiction.net.

Responses

The series has received widespread kudos. "Fantasy", the seventh story in volume 1, won the "Smut" category in the 2015 Sam and Jack Multimedia Awards.

Example reviews/comments

Given some thought and think this is most probably a reflection of how Jack deals with his life. As long as he is in control then nothing can phase him. There is no doubt in my mind that he loves Sam, but is afraid that if he doesn't control her, if she doesn't submit to him then there is the great possibility she would leave him. It is just how he deals with life. Charlie left him, Sara left him, Skarra left him. Being in control with his partner excites him sexually. Of course Sam does show signs of not being submissive every once and a while, and all hell is going to break out, when she realizes this isn't a game but how Jack really lives. Think it also has to do with those months in that Iraqi POW camp where he was sexually abused[2]
