The Sam and Jack Multimedia Awards (SJMA) were fandom awards for works featuring Samantha Carter/Jack O'Neill. The SJMA were run by Amara D'Angeli and Fems, with SCIMM providing artwork. The awards took place in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018, and then SJMA decided to cease running.
History
The Sam & Jack Multimedia awards were born 2014 in Amara's local Starbucks. From the comfort of a Florida spring, she messaged Fems and SCIMM (who live in much colder climes) and said she had this crazy idea (because awards for an aging fandom are surly insane) to reward the content creators in the Stargate - Sam/Jack fandom.[1]
