Imitations of a Jedi Master is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Dr Squidlove.
Summary: A lover once told Padawan Kenobi that sex could be as perfect and natural as two great warriors duelling. Instead, he has always found it a disappointment. When interest kindles with the legendary Master Jinn, he fears the greatest disappointment yet.

NC17 | Chan | AU. This fic melts me. It presents an interestingly open sexual atmosphere at the Jedi temple, yet not without certain mores. Like the sexuality of Ancient Rome, homosexuality is accepted, but certain acts are still reserved only for the partner of greater age or status. However, as Obi-Wan looks to Qui-Gon as a mentor both in practice sessions and in bed, he finds that the Jedi Master is not quite as impermeable as he believed. Also, in this fic Qui-Gon is not Obi-Wan's master, just a Master at the temple.[1]
Certain fandoms have certain cliches in fanfics: Batman's Batcave resembles the comics' rendition, containing a giant penny and a green allosaurus. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan shared an apartment, everyone knows that. It had two bedrooms, a kitchenette and a balcony, a suite which had lots of action. But this story is written to a challenge to tweak the fanfic cliché and it does so in two scrumptious ways: Obi-Wan is not Qui-Gon's Padawan, and the Jedi quarters are a large bunkroom. Everyone in one place at nighttime. After lights out, let the tiptoeing begin. Beyond the interesting setting, Obi-Wan indulges Qui-Gon's needs, and discovers his own needs surprise him.[2]
