Funko collectibles are pop culture toys produced by Funko Inc. They are most well-known for their figurine collection, Funko Pops!
The aesthetic appeal of Funko Pops is generally quite polarizing inside and outside of fandom, having both avid collectors and avid despisers. The cultural popularity of Funko Pops from the mid 2010s into the 2020s has noticeably contributed to the recently highly commercialized wave of fandom.
Merch
Funko Pop! lines have a figurine for select characters from an entire franchise, such as The Walking Dead or Harry Potter. Occasionally, there will be variants for a single character.
Funko Pop! has hundreds of licenses with different companies, and has released merch for Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, LOST, Pokemon, Disney, drag queens, League of Legends, Hockey, Sanrio, and Nascar, to name a few.[1]
