Foreword

Welcome to the latest production from Helpers Network UK. In all honesty, we have to say that we really have had little to do with this!! Most of the hard work was done by the members of The Amethyst Cavern, as this is really their baby. The only thing we have done is the layout and, of course, the printing.

It has taken them approximately two years to put this fanzine together and The Amethyst Cavern have trusted us to produce it for them, with funds going towards Masquerades '94. For this, we thank them all profusely, as conventions are very expensive beasts to run - especially when guests are involved.

Thanks of course go to everyone who worked so hard in putting this fanzine together, including all the contributors, whether they be writers, artists, typists etc etc, for without them, there would be no fanzine. Again, they are helping to get the dream alive.

This zine should have been out earlier but, once again, fate was against us, due to both personal tragedy and mechanical difficulties. However, we have been reliably informed that with this 'new tube' on Nancy, our photocopier should have a new lease on life. We hope so, she's done over a million copies as it is and we need her to carry on for a while longer!

The material held within these pages is again wide and diversified and we hope that each and every one of you will find something that delights and pleases you. The team at Helpers Network UK found themselves moved to tears by some of what is contained within, which goes to show how deeply affected we were by it.

Anyway, enough of our rabbiting! We'll let you get down to some serious reading!

As always, we welcome your comments and suggestions and look forward to hearing from you. In the mean time, happy reading!!!
