pCynbad's Page of Stories was a personal fanfiction site. It was a member of the Highlander Web Ring and the Highlander Fanfic Webring.

And now, a wonderful example of what happens to people who send me in story ideas: Cyndee has been one of my most consistent and positive sources of feedback, sending me hugs, lyrics, quotes, story ideas, everything. However, sending me story ideas will often result in me nagging you to write them yourself (and you all know who you are!). Cyndee finally took me seriously, and started writing HL, and wow! she's just ran with it. Her series is into the double-digits, and she's still going. Not everything's posted yet, but go and read what's there, and beg for more (feedback is such an inspiration): Cynbad's Page of Stories.

Highlander Fiction

• "Soulmates" series - "This series is dedicated to Mona, my teacher (yes, we mortals have them, too.) She was my first introduction to slash. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear friend. Updated Oct. 21, 1998"

1 "Rhiannon"--An old "friend" of Methos has come to town, called by him. She turns a few lives upside down, but no one is really complaining <g>. Set up for what follows.

2 "Later That Night"--Back at the loft, Duncan gets a few lessons that only the Ancients know how to teach. Soulmates do exist and he is in this for the duration. Follows "Rhiannon" immediately M/F and M/M/F sex]

3 "The Morning After"--Follows "Later" immediately. Everyone shows up at the loft on the awkward morning after. Nice little lesson on the difference between men and women. [M/M/F sex implied]

4 "Boy Talk"--Talk between Duncan and Methos discussing change in relationship what it means for them and their friends. [M/M sex]

5 "Paying Joe Back"--Rhiannon pays Joe back, and does it very well. The Boys are left to fend for themselves, which they manage without a problem. <g> [M/F sex with a twist, M/M rough sex]

6 "Overload"--Rhiannon is saved by the boys from a nasty power surge. (in two parts) [M/F sex] Part 1 * Part 2

7 "All Recovered"--PWP with lots of sex, actually, only sex <veg> [M/M, M/F, M/F rough]

8 "The Cassandra Problem"--The time has come to deal with Cassandra, and who will it fall to? [References to rape and violence--Horsemen shit revisited. M/M sex, non consensual, implied and M/M/F relationship mentioned.]

9 "Boys (Will Be Very Evil Boys Sometimes)"--The best laid plans of Rhiannon and the Boys leave them with lots to recover from. Extremely dark and disturbing. References to extreme sexual violence and deals with the aftermath of such. [M/M/F sexual violence described, loving M/F sex] Part 1 * Part 2

10 "The Wicked Bad Fight"--The character's wanted to fight so I let them go at it with the promise that all would be alright in the end, and was it ever <g> [M/F sex and M/M/F relationship stuff and implied sex]

11 "Clarity"--Methos and Rhiannon finally settle their feelings for each other, some angst but lots of love, snugglebunnies abound (see Mona, I got them from her). [M/F loving sex]

12 "Old Loves Revisited"--deals with saying goodbye to former lovers. Lots of sex [M/M, M/F sex all over the place]. Angst with Rhiannon and Connor, much more than either the characters or I counted on. [ <sigh>, gotta get Connor laid soon <g>]

13 "Closing the Circle"--The Climax and M/M/F sex.

14 "The Trip"--Still more angst with Connor and Rhiannon <sigh>, Joe ends up in danger, and lots of learning going on. M/M/F sex.

15 "Desperado"--M/M/F relationship stuff and M/F sex described. Connor finally gets laid <giggle>, and even Mike thinks it's about time.

16 "Check"--Connor's new love explored and explained. [M/F sex, M/M/F and M/M/F PDAs and relationship stuff]

17 "Happy Anniversary"--M/M/F sex and relationship stuff, just the three soulmates. Has it really been a year?

18 "Rhiannon's Game"--Rhiannon's take on the game [M/M/F loving sex and rough sex.]

19 "Women's Work"-- Rhiannon deals with K'Immies and then deals with the Boys <giggle> M/M/F sex.

20 "Checkmate"--M/F and M/M/F realationship stuff, "Boys" revisited through Chess. The new couple has quite the lessons in store for them.

21 "Shopping"--relationship stuff for all (and I do mean all) the Immies and M/M, M/M/F sex

22 "Forbidden Love"--Richie finally has a love life [M/F sex] and he has to confront Connor. Both Richie and Mike are growing up and Connor doesn't like it, not one little bit. Connor does what he does best: Brood, act stubborn, and generally make Richie nervous. Backtracks to "Closing the Circle" and then moves past "Shopping" by one day in the "Soulmates" timeline.

23 "Good-bye and Hello"--a completion with Ann for Duncan and a new begining for Joe, [M/F sex implied, M/M/F relationship stuff and PDAs]

24 "What Are Friends For?" -- M/F sexual violence actual and remembered. Extreme violence and torture remembered. M/F lovingly graphic sex. M/M/F relationship stuff. Turn about is fair play and now it is Connor's turn to be bad and the Boys' turn to be wonderful and caring <g>. (This story is in major rewrites right now. Please give me time.<g>)

25 "Poppies of Doom" -- Rhiannon goes through hell and The Boys are there to help her every step of the way. There is lovingly graphic and gentle sex in this one and my favorite relationship (M/M/F) is explored, implied and used to save Rhina from herself. Lots of angst, physical and emotional pain. Trust is lost and rebuilt, stronger than ever. Rhiannon finally gets to be human. <g>

26 "A Womans Place" -- Due to computer problems the snipit for this story was deleted. Will be replaced soon with new one.

27 "It's About Time" -- Well, Connor and Chess are finally getting married. This story takes place over two days and is the event that C and C have been waiting anxiously for. No angst, all romance, PDAs and fun. [M/M/F relationship implied, no sex <gasp>]

28 "Cats and Mice" Trilogy --

"While Cats Are Away . . . " -- takes place between Duncan, Methos and Connor <gasp>. The Boys (yes, all three) are off camping and decide to play. M/M and M/M/M sex <very evil giggle>

" . . . Mice Will Play" -- Well, the girls were left home (Rhiannon and Chess) and they play, too <giggle and gasp> Yes, I did it, F/F slash <sigh, am really losing it.>

"Cats and Mice Together" -- It's just what the name implies, M/M/M/F/F sex <g> don't tell me you didn't see this coming <giggle and thud>.

"Coming Out" -- Well, the Boys come out and all hell breaks lose, lots of angst, some sex, reconciliations and healing. M/M and M/F sex.

30 "First Fights" -- Chess and Connor fight, and so do Mike and Richie. All because Chess and Mike take their first heads. Well, Duncan opens up his big mouth, and then well. . . it's the men against the women and the topic is chivalry <g>. No sex <gasp> M/M/F relationship implied.

31 "When The Mighty Have Fallen" -- When Rhiannon and Methos fall off the pedestals that Duncan has put them on, The Mighty MacLeod falls hard in the the lesson that they must teach him. Emotional angst and pain for all involved. [M/F and M/M/F sex, language, etc.]

"An Ancient Life Begins"--Methos and Rhiannon in the beginning M/F sex, female underage by today's standards, but is an adult and married in the anceint society where this story takes place.

Fan Fic sites of Friends

Margaret (Mags), the original Hetsketeer and my Soulsister has a page of het stories. I know, I write lots of slash and I truly believe that D and M belong together. However, I am an honorary member of the Hetsketeers and here is our Headquarters home page, courtesy of Mags.

Mona, to whom the Soulmates series is dedicated. She is the reason I began writing and was my first introduction to slash. She remains my teacher and a source of encouragement. TYKes to Mona. Check out her Highlander slash, both D/M and J/R, and then move on to the other stuff. It's all hot and very good.

Maygra's Muse we all bow down to her. She has the most intense stories I have ever read and is the most consistant writer I know. If I could do anything when I grow up, it would to write like Maygra. Be prepared to stay a long time. Warning, both intense homoerotic sex and violence offered. Well worth staying up all night and reading everything there <giggle, I've done it more than once>. Again, this is The Master of the Muse.

DeRhema's Dabblings Another site by the Master of the Muse. This site is all Het.

Now, one of the funniest and silliest pages in HL fandom, kept by my very own Pagemaster -- "Maybe Kenny's Not A Virgin After All". This has hysterically gross pairings and tons of other stuff, including fanfic that will have you laughing and running to throw up at the same time. A must see for a lightening of your mood. Rienna's note: Maybe Kennys will not have fic for a little bit longer. Update has been pushed back due to RL. Pics aren't up yet either.

Jen, a friend and also a very good writer. Find her Cat and Chris stories here. The ROG is in them all over the place. Enjoy.

Jenny Shipp has a really cool page with wavs and fic and pics. She is a *big* fan of [Kronos] and does he ever speak to her. Go, read, and experience Kronos for all it's worth. Also, fanfic from other fandoms.

Whimgirls Page. We were all captured by the Four Horsemen and had the good fortune to be taken by Methos into his tent. We are all Whimsisters and live to serve the Master.

Laurie, a new page from a new friend -- lots of slash fanfic from HL as well as others. Go and check it out!

Sabotini's House o' Fanfic Contains slash, and excellent slash at that. Not all of it is D/M, but she manages to make it all work. Must read.

Vyola's Corner Mostly Sentinal slash but she has a really good HL/Sentinal Xover, as well as other HL fic.

Fan Fiction of Kevin H. Robnett Must warn you that this site is very, very graphic in the sex and sexual violence departments, a definite R rating but very, very good. He has both slash and gen fan fic for HL.

Seventh Dimension Archive by Ann Fountain A new archive with lots of adult stuff. My stuff is there as well as tons of other fic. Sorted not only by Author and Title but also by characters. Be prepared to spend a loooooong time there.

HLX Archive. Another great HL adult archive there. Some of the best slash fanfic is archived here. Also one to plan on staying awhile at.

The Highlander Quill Club The coolest HL art anywhere and archiving some of the best stuff around. This site has Eng's stchings (it's her site) to go with Maygra's slash (gasp!). Very wonderful drawings of D and M together. The answer is yes. Oh, yes!
