Oh, now *this* is a nice memory.The very first slash piece I ever read was the "Chances" series by Alex Jones (M/Sk) and boy, did I print that sucker out, staple it up and read it until it literally fell apart.
I'd been reading atxc for a while back then, and didn't even know what "slash" was. (Didn't have web site access back then either, but Alex was kind enough to mail me the series along with some other pieces.)

I can't remember what my *first* slash piece was, but this series was definitely the first slash that I really liked and still remember fondly. I'm not much of a slash reader, but I remember being on the edge of my seat for the next installments of this series.[2]
[The first slash I ever read] was either the "Chances" series or "Denny's Cycle" by Ethan Nelson. I accidentally stumbled upon them and was hooked on M/Sk for life. Sigh. I *really* miss new M/Sk by Ethan.... <g> [3]
