The Awesome Ladies Ficathon was a 2010 comment ficathon run by ineffort on LiveJournal. parentheses hosted a Dreamwidth edition with ineffort's permission.
The first Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology comprises recordings of 73 ficlets from the ficathon.
The ficathon was revived in 2012 by eilowyn as The Awesome Ladies Ficathon and Art-a-thon aka Ladyfest 2012.
Rules
1. Post prompts! Given the nature of this ficathon, your prompt must focus on a woman. Format them as such: fandom, character(s) [+ pairings if any], your choice of prompt be it a lyric, a word, etc.2. Answer prompts! Though you do not need one to write. They're there to serve as inspiration. Post away with or without one. Fics need to posted with the following subject line: fandom, character(s) [+ pairings if any], title, rating. Also more than one person can respond to the same prompt. Remember to include a subject line when you fill a prompt; it'll make it easier to find your commentfic when we compile a master list later on.
3. LEAVE FEEDBACK. Let the author know if you liked their fic, an angel will get its wings if you do, FACT.
