Ashido Mina/Yaoyorozu Momo is a femslash rarepair ship in the Boku No Hero Academia fandom between Ashido Mina and Yaoyorozu Momo.
Fandom
The ship was popularized by Tumblr user fozzie in 2016-2017 with a variety of illustrations[1] and meta posts [2][3] about how well the characters are suited for each other.
A fanweek occured on Tumblr in October 2017, followed in 2018 by another fanweek hosted by a different group.
Common Tropes in Fanworks
Fanartists often enjoy emphasizing their height difference, as do many femslash ships involving Yaoyorozu.
Yaoyorozu is a model student, much more so than Ashido, so writers may use tutoring sessions as pretext for the characters to become closer. In AU works, Ashido may be portrayed as a mermaid [4]or another supernatural/alien creature due to her canon quirk.
Since MomoJirou and MinaTooru are more common femslash ships for these characters, some MinaMomo fans like to pair the spares and portray this ship alongside Jirou Kyouka/Hagakure Tooru.
