Although I passed over it forever, I finally decided to give it a shot and I’m so damn hooked, so involved, SO INTO THIS THING I cannot even tell you. Despite the “superhero” aspect, it’s an amazing story of love and sacrifice and devotion. Please give this a shot – I think you’ll be happy you did.[1]
It is difficult to imagine that there is anyone left in the Klaine fandom who has not read RainJoy’s All the Other Ghosts. It is one of the most universally loved fics and often recommended. At first glance, it is another AU about Kurt and Blaine …this time they have superpowers. But it is so much more. Others have described this outstanding fic with great eloquence. All I can add is that YOU MUST READ THIS - and - ATOG/Grey gets to the heart of what makes Kurt Hummel tick better than anything else I have read.[2]
I would love to be able to reread sooo many different lovely fics that have impacted me greatly. One of them would be All The Other Ghosts by rainjoy, because I’ll be honest that fanfic changed my inner world and taught me things about myself and that’s an experience I would love to relive.[3]
I have some issues with characterization now that I’m much farther from the novelty of the work. And I don’t feel it really represents my version of Kurt and Blaine. Still, it’s a remarkable work of world building and could stand on its own as an original novel. And some fascinating things to say about fandom. And is quite entertaining.[4]
I think I've finally accepted that whatever book I read will never amount to the beauty that is atog,,,,,, and that's coming from someone minoring in literature[5]
