Samantha "Sam" Arias appears in season 3 of Supergirl (TV Series). She has a pre-established friendship with Lena Luthor and becomes a friend of Alex Danvers during the season when they try to diagnose/cure Sam and later save Sam from Reign.

Interest in the pairing started during season 3, in which Sam Arias was introduced, after Alex/Maggie broke up.
