Reactions and Reviews

This zine contains a single short story. The page count derives from its being hand stamped, with roughly 40-50 words to the page, bound on the short side of the page.

The story is set shortly after "A Kingdom by the Sea." As in that episode, V finds himself invaded by unwelcome feelings, this time by powerful, quite specifically erotic sensations coming to him through the bond. Not just a kiss, this time, but a fullscale sexual encounter. But when he confronts C, she denies having done anything to provoke such sensations. Who is V to believe: C or his own senses? V's struggle to trust, in spite of the most persuasive and agonizing contrary evidence, is effectively dramatized. All is ingeniously and satisfactorily resolved at the end.

This unusual zine is a keepsake. Pam Tuck's several illustrations are, as usual, wondrous. [1]

"..., a unique stamped novella..."[2]
