A is A is a sprawling multi-fandom crossover fanfiction series written by Flyboy254. Started in 2018, as of September 2023 there are 70 chapters (the most recent posted September 21, 2023), over two million words and at least 30 fandoms included. In the words of the author:

People are alike all over...

What happens when a small change enacts massive consequences? When ordered to use the Stargate in conjunction with the Quantum Mirror, SG-1 realizes that there's more to the multiverse than the occasional alternate self. Discovering magic, witnessing advanced tech, and facing new and dangerous conspiracies, SG-1 does the only sensible thing.

They invite their new contacts to team up with them.

A Is A is a crossover series written by Flyboy 254, following O'Neill, Carter, Daniel, and Teal'c from Stargate SG-1 as they meet, befriend, and occasionally brawl with new faces across the multiverse. Already numbering at over sixty stories, the series has tackled everything from culture shock, prejudice, ends vs means, and dozens of other ideals. In the middle of it all, a single question hangs over everything.

Where is Kane?

A is A is currently ongoing Massive Multiplayer Crossover, and takes a heavy dose of SG-1's tendency to subvert, avert, and play with situations and couples it with Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, The Legend of Korra, Battlefield 2142, Command & Conquer, Overwatch, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, Sailor Moon, and Pumpkin Scissors.

While the concept sounds like an excuse for silly crossover fun, A is A addresses various serious issues (one of the main characters is canonically homophobic, for example, and Flyboy doesn't shy away from portraying this) and combines dry humour with the ability to write compelling action/adventure, poignant slice-of-life and an overarching plot line that threads through everything.

Reactions and Reviews

I excitedly wiggled when I saw you had posted a new story with two fandoms I'm familiar with, for your last chaptered story I need to read the wiki for better understanding before I feel like I can read and comment on it. I personally think that the reason less people read these stories are because they are afraid that the characters are OOC, witch from what I have seen they are not, and the many different fandoms. Hopefully more people will read them. (If that's what you want.)

honestly i only came to this series for the fmab and i stopped reading fairy tail a long time ago but like youve made me invested in a huge story involving so many universes and out of all of the many series involved i am only familiar with 3 of them. none of which are stargate. and yet im somehow still here enjoying stories where i dont know any of the characters in a given arc or only know a couple. which is frankly amazing. honestly this series might just make me check out stargate if only so that i can have more context. keep up the great work

aroacejoot - Chapter 8, A is A: Operation: HIGHER EDUCATION

Your character and plot development continues to be fascinating, love seeing Bromako, and relating it back to him killing Ming-Hua. I did laugh at McNeill's "starting to understand the lesbian thing" earlier :) The grey areas between the various groups in the favelas are quite convincing.

Blackpaw29 on Chapter 5, A is A: Glória Prometida

" “Do you know what racists are?”

Kermit blinked, and turned to Brigitte to ask, “Are you asking if I can help you stop being one?” "

That one part make laugh really really hard, thank you
