X-Files Ultimate (also known as The X-Files Ultimate and abbreviated as XFU) is an X-Files community website that featured news, exclusive media content like videos and the Aliatope Game as well as an message board known as the friendly forums. Members of the community are called "X-FUs".

History

The site went online at the end of 2007 after the production of the second X-Files feature film I Want To Believe has been announced. The site often featured exclusive news, an episode guide, fanfiction, reviews and videos as well a forum which was advertised as "the friendly forum". All exclusive content was contributed by X-Files Ultimate staff members. The site wenn offline in 2011 after the hype after the second movie died down.

In the second week of October 2017, the Twitter account @xfultimate tweeted the link to http://www.xfultimate.com/ which included a counter that ended on Friday, October 13, 2017 (Chris Carter's birthday). After the counter ran out, it was revealed that X-Files ultimate was back again under this new url. The site had been redesigned an the Aliatope Game was redesigned from Flash to HTML5. The new site also contains an extra Spoiler section for Season XI and a chat room.
