Fandom

The fandom for Witches of East End is still fairly small despite the fact that the first season aired with 3 million viewers[1]. The fandom only has a few works on FanFiction.Net and Archive of Our Own, with more activity on Tumblr where fans share gifs and picspams as well as Youtube where fans make various different vids for it. Many often compare the series to Charmed [1], which is another television series about a family of witches.

The first season fandom mainly focused on the Beauchamp women (Joanna, Wendy, Freya, and Ingrid) and love triangle of Freya, Killian and Dash. The triangle ended up resolved in the season 1's finale, with Freya/Killian as the chosen pairing which was actually more favored by fans. The other main pairing of the season was Ingrid/Adam Noble. Besides them, a few fans shipped Joanna/Dash[2].

With the second season release, due to scenes between Dash and Ingrid, a lot of fans popped up shipping them together. Also with the second season release a few fans ship the twincest pairing of Freya/Frederick[3].
