I've been around the fandom block since 2008-2009 (I actually can't remember). I made an account on Ao3 in 2012 and began volunteering for it in 2020. I started contributing to Fanlore in 2022 to archive some of the zines I own or have followed online, and got obsessed with documentation. My main focus is on anime and JRPG zines, but I'll occasionally document high profile zines and events outside of my usual scope.
My focus in documenting zines is recording a zine's production history, its design and branding, its contributors, and the fandom sentiment to these zines. I hope my contributions will be helpful for anyone looking to understand how zines are organized and designed.
