Total Drama: Island (2007) is the first season of Total Drama. It stars 22 contestants and two hosts.

Listed alphabetically, the contestants are Beth, Bridgette, Cody, Courtney, DJ, Duncan, Eva, Ezekiel, Geoff, Gwen, Harold, Heather, Izzy, Justin, Katie, Leshawna, Lindsay, Noah, Owen, Sadie, Trent and Tyler. Chris McLean and Chef Hatchet host. This cast is sometimes called Gen 1.

Most characters introduced in Total Drama Island participate in Action and World Tour. Many fanworks draw upon these seasons for characterizations and pairings rather than Island.

The most popular pairing for contestants who compete in Total Drama Island is Courtney/Duncan. Other popular ships are Cody/Noah, Bridgette/Geoff and Gwen/Trent.
