With this issue, comes the end of our first year. It has been an interesting one. Around this time in 1992, Admiral Lyndon Cartman suggested to me that we should startup a fan club. It is strange, because I was thinking along the same lines several months earlier. I discussed the possibilities with him and Admiral Randy John. You could imagine my surprise when hearing that two close friends recommended that we get into the fan club business again. You see all of this isn't exactly new to us.

Back in the early 80's, we had another Star Trek SF club, The Federation Fan Club. Hopefully, we have become better story tellers and publishers. At least the journal looks allot better now.

As we look forward to our second year, there are some things I'm sure we would all like to see. We have a good start, but we need your help. WE NEED MORE CONTRIBUTIONS! We would like to see more newspaper clippings, comics, stories, factual articles, etc... Together, we can make this next year bigger and better. If you are busy and can't find the time to write an article, why not just send us a post card letting us know what you think? What you liked or disliked. What you would like to see in the future. It's your club. Why not make it the club you want?!?

It has been an interesting year for sci-fi on tv and on the silver screen with the debut of Sea Quest and movies like Jurassic Park. Unfortunately, this is the final year of Star Trek The Next Generation.

What will become of the gallant crew of the Enterprise? Time will tell! For information about sci-fi tv and movies check out RUMORS & INNUENDO.
