The long excerpt from Maggie's history of Star Wars letterzines is very interesting but it doesn't seem to belong on this page. It appears to be about Star Wars letterzines in general. Should it be moved somewhere else?--Doro 20:08, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Let me check first - Maggie went through a lot of work documenting the history of SW letterzines and I want to make certain we don;t start deleting her work. I may be able to find a section that relates only to this one letterzine. PS. The watch feature on Fanlore is broken for my accounts so any other comments will need to be emailed to me. Morgan Dawn

I'd like excerpt the parts of Maggie's quote about Jundland Wastes specifically here, then move this more general letterzine section (with lots of crosslinks, of course, so folks landing on either page have easy access) to the letterzine page, but am unsure how to do it without messing up the formatting and references. I tried a little this morning but am unhappy with how it looks and reads. Can someone help? --Mrs. Potato Head 13:13, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
More specifically, This is what I want to keep on the Jundland Wastes page: "Alderaan (zine) was the first SW letterzine. [It ran from 1978 to 1981]. In June of 1981....a new letterzine appeared, Jundland Wastes, and this was the letterzine to which SW fanzine fandom would turn for its link across distances.

[In Jundland Wastes] Fans who supported the Empire lined up against those astounded that anyone could question the Alliance. The constant and often acrimonious debate over the quality of zine reviews that had begun in ALDERAAN continued. Most divisive of all arguments to appear in (and come to dominate) the [letter]zine was the claim put forth by a group of post-TESB [The Empire Strikes Back] fans that only one person could be the true hero of SW and that one person was Han Solo, not Luke Skywalker." And put the first part of Maggie's quote on the letterzine page. Again, with links between the two. It seems easy enough, but the ref tags and things are not my forte. :-( --Mrs. Potato Head 13:25, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Edit Request

Could someone edit the link for "A New Hope" so it goes to Star Wars: A New Hope, since A New Hope is a disambiguation page? Thank you. JKFAN (talk) 22:08, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
