Shades of Green is a gen 156-page Kung Fu: The Legend Continues anthology, focusing on Detective Kermit Griffin.

The art is by David Lee Gold (front cover), Sharon Palmer, Jeanne R. Gold, Cynthia Boris Liljeblad, and L.C. Wells.

From the Editor

Cynthia Boris talks about it in My Fannish Journey: The Fanzine:

... I got brave enough to place more stories in zines, mostly because they paid you in copies. At $40 bucks or more per zine, it was worth it. Eventually, Jeannie and I partnered on our own weird little zine dedicated to Kermit on KF:TLC – “Shades of Green.” One of my epic angst-fests was the centerpiece and we filled out the rest with work from some of my favorite fan writers.

From the Editorial

The idea came to light last year at Media West as we plotted out Cynthia's story "Breaking Point". Since the story revolved around Kermit, Cyn wasn't sure where to submit it. It was sometime that weekend that we decided that Kermit should have his own 'zine. Would there be interest? we wondered. Well, we soon found that we were not the only ones writing about the mysterious detective. The best thing about it is that since Kermit is so mysterious, we can let our creative juices flow. You'll find within these pages different views about Kermit's past, and some surprising similarities. Thanks to Nea, Martha, Sherri, Cheshire, Jeanne, Tish, SMAP, Denise, and Nicole for their contributions.
