SergeAsylum is one in a series of mailing lists devoted to discussing the slash relationship between the Due South characters Fraser and Ray Kowalski. In 2001, the list changed its name to dS_Asylum. In 2003 the mailing list left yahoogroups and moved to another mailing list platform, calling itself "Asylum at Easy-List." The mailing list ceased operation after the move.
Like many Due South mailing lists at the time, the list was a participant in the Ray Wars, coming down firmly on the Ray Kowalski side. From the FAQ: "No Vecchiosmut. Period. Dot it, file it, stick it in a box marked 'Done.' You can talk about him, just post stories about him having sex somewhere else. Get over it." The list would not even permit threesomes fan fiction that involved Fraser, Ray Vecchio and Ray Kowalski. The list also prohibited het fan fiction, underage fan fiction and any discussion of RPS. Approximate membership at the height of activity: 200.
