Pottercest is a term used in the Harry Potter fandom to describe fanworks that contain incest pairings involving members of the Potter family.

Shipping Pottercest pairings, originally just James/Harry and Harry/Lily, is much rarer in the Harry Potter fandom compared to the other family-related incest pairings. This might be due to the lack of canon interaction between Harry with his parents. It's not until the Next Gen Potter family members were revealed that fanworks became a little less rare with Albus/James, James II/Lily II, Albus/Lily II, Harry/Lily II, and Ginny/Lily II.
