Reactions and Reviews

I'm sorry, but no, it shakes and rambles. Where are their bodyguards? If not Kirk's, what about Spock's allowing Samuel Kirk to enter unmolested with three guards? Is there no one to guard his back? And would Spock stand idle while that Captain Kirk is being taken captive, especially as he intends to get him back to insure the safe return of his own captain? Spock had a golden opportunity when Kirk started fighting and what did he do? Nothing? That's not Spock. [1]

A lively and involving story of Kirk In the mirror universe and what happened to him after Scotty, Uhura and McCoy were sent back home.

Sam Kirk features importantly in this universe and is a mean and nasty brother who ends up giving Kirk to Admiral Komack as a sex slave.

During this time, Mirror Kirk gets transported to our universe and ends up realizing how wonderful the other Kirk is and how much better that universe is from his own.

We don't see much of what happens to Kirk in the clutches of Admiral Komack, but he's taken to Komack s private suite and all tied up and made to have sex with counterparts of people like Decker, Ferris and Wesley and even Sam. This is pretty imaginative and even though we later learn what happened, I would have liked to have seen more. Quite sexy as Kirk is all strapped up with rings on his cock.

Eventually Kirk is returned and he's been drugged and abused and made up to look pale and frail with "permanent cosmetics around his eyes and on his lips". I realize it was a terrible experience for Kirk, but I thought that would look kind of neat.

McCoy, Spock and Kirk go on a shore leave together to a beach where Kirk water skis. I would have liked to have seen that! Kirk has recovered physically, but not emotionally and still won1! talk about his experiences, so in a very clever twist on the "McCoy as therapist" scenario, the doctor challenges Kirk to a game of poker where each chip would represent a question that McCoy could ask about what had happened in the mirror universe.

Except for Kirk pacing and wringing his hands, this is a good scene where he tells how guilty he feels for not having fought back. Then a wonderful idea where Spock melds with Kirk and includes McCoy. This is where we see what happened at Komacks.

Meanwhile, the mirror counterparts are leading a rebellion. I loved the scene where all these people come up to Mirror Kirk (thinking he's the alternate) and Mirror Kirk hasn't a clue what they are talking about and Spock won't tell him.

My absolute favorite line is: "I don't know any fucking fairytales." [2]
