A one-shot depicting an alternate version of Alex Rider and Yasha Gregorovich’s first meeting. Featuring child!Yasha and vaguely adult!Alex. This is an incredible concept, beautiful execution (seriously, galimau’s writing is really good), and the only issue I have with it is that it ends so quickly. Because I would be down to read a Devil-sized work based on this premise. Someone, please, write a follow-up to this, I am begging you. This is such a tantalizing AU and my writing is simply not good enough to do this story justice. General audiences, complete. The timelines are all over the place in this bad boy, I think it takes place in vaguely Soviet Russia? Yasha is still living on the streets of Moscow and Alex is more of a seasoned adult here, and that’s what matters![1]
