Nate "ND" Stevenson, aka gingerhaze, is an American cartoonist best known for his fantasy comic Nimona, the BOOM! Studios comic Lumberjanes, and most recently the Netflix reboot She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Stevenson produced fanart on tumblr and gained a large following there before releasing Nimona and having his professional career take off. He was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom.
Nate is transmasculine and bigender. In August 2021, he began to be referred to as ND, uploading a comic a few months later showcasing his complicated feelings towards his name.[1] As a result previous works, articles and blog posts etc may refer to him under his dead name. In June 2022, he announced his name is Nate and pronouns are he/him. He intends to use ND for his professional work.[2]
