Nocturnal Light is a medium-sized fanfiction archive for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel fandom in the Spike/Buffy pairing. It was founded in 2003, and was last updated in 2012. It remained online as of June 2016, when it contained 545 stories by 102 authors.
The site also has a large collection of framegrabs from episodes featuring Spike and a list of recommended Spuffy sites.
History
The site was founded by Yani in 2003, who remains the archivist. It was originally hosted on Freewebs and then Geocities, before moving to sand-in-my-shoes.com and then to its own domain. As of 2016, it has gone through eleven site designs; the early layouts (until February 2005) were by Aimée.[1] In July 2012, Yani announced that she had 'adopted' the stories from Vampire's Kiss, another Spuffy archive (long offline), but it is unclear whether these were ever added to the archive.[2]
