Fan Theories

Spoiler Warning: This article or section may contain spoilers. If this bothers you, proceed with caution.

A joke theory that has been spread in the fandom is that Allen and Graham were actually twins. This theory came about as in the character profiles, Graham and Turkes are revealed to have the same birthday. With an approximate age for Graham and an exact age for Turkes, it was possible that they were in fact born on the same day. It was suggested that Turkes is in fact Allen, who had supposedly died in the story's present, but due to the timeline provided, Turkes became a cyborg around the time Allen would have died. The two also share mannerisms, speech patterns, hair texture, and a disregard for human life. Allen and Graham have similar colour palettes and both came from Eden, having some influence there. There was, however, no justification for how Allen would have survived to become a cyborg beyond it being a fictional story. This was one of many theories speculating on the relationships between the characters in the manga.

During the manga's release, there were a number of theories regarding who was actually a cyborg and who was human.

One theory is that Lint was programmed to perceive Mother as his dead wife and overwrote his affection for her with affection for Mother, to keep him protecting her.
